Our Pledge – Your Future First
The future of our students is at the heart of everything we do, equally we encourage each student to think Your Future First. For each Sixth Form student we pledge to offer a balanced curriculum, appropriate to the needs and wishes of the individual student, selected from Advanced Level, SME and Personal Development courses. We will provide high quality teaching by well qualified staff, supported by appropriate resources. Students are well prepared for examination entry which will be free of charge to those students who have been in full attendance and have completed, to a sufficiently high standard, the work that has been set.
We offer a wide range of co-curricular opportunities for self-development, including visits abroad and opportunities for service to the school and wider community. Each student will be provided with tutorial support, mentoring and a structured programme of careers education along with impartial guidance and preparation for application and entry to Higher Education, Employment, Apprenticeship or Study Abroad. Furthermore, we endeavor to provide a comfortable Sixth Form environment, including a range of study materials and from September 2024 a new Sixth Form Fitness Suite.
All that we offer is set into the context of the Christian values of the school. We acknowledge the important contribution that Sixth Form students make to our school and attempt to consider the needs of individual students.
