Homework is a key way in which we encourage our students to develop the skills, confidence and motivation needed to study effectively on their own. We know that it helps raise academic standards through consolidating and reinforcing skills and understanding developed in school.
The tabs above contain the homework timetable for each year group. The timetables show how many pieces of homework should be set per subject and how long each piece should take to complete.
Teachers also have the flexibility to combine homework tasks together to make one longer piece. Where possible teachers will avoid setting tasks for submission the following day, but this may not always be possible.
Teachers will record the homework information on Assignments using MS Teams.
We do ask that you support your child with their homework by providing a quiet place for them to work, and checking the time spent on individual tasks.
